BrainScan Software began in 1996 as an independent software developer and consulting programming house. Branching out into Macromedia Director CD-ROM and Shockwave projects, and web development services was the next stage, which survived the tech crash of the late '90s and grew through the 2000s. BrainScan now hs come full circle and is focussing on independent software development projects once again. Based in Auburn, California, 30 miles Northeast of Sacramento, BrainScan Software has worked with clients and partners across the United States and beyond.  Brian FriesBrian earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from CSU Chico in 1985, and spent the following 11 years working as a programmer/analyst for Retail Marketing Services and System Integrators, Inc. In 1996, he left the corporate sector to pursue his own business venture as a consultant and independent software developer. Along the way, Brian became an accomplished ceramic sculptor, potter, and photographer, and spent some time managing an art gallery. For samples of Brian's art work, see FriesArt.com. Katy FriesKaty is a teacher, artist, and creativity consultant. In addition to her years teaching elementary school, and teaching high school special needs classes, Katy has been pursued many avenues of personal, professional and spiritual growth, and is a dynamic and creative public speaker.
